Positives:
Nice atmosphere, but unorganized. Not good for a first impression when they are busy. They seem to not take as much time and care for you when they have to multi-task. I work in a retail environment. I understand the business. When someone drives in for a go-to order and asks for you to add a simple cookie. Please, take the time and grab the cookie and make sure the customer walks out with one before charging them for an item that you did not put in the bag. Not sure if this happens a lot when it is busy, but there needsa to be a better system. When I called to voice my concern, the girl asks if I could drive up there for the cookie. No thanks. I asked to be refunded and she put me on hold forever so k had to hang up. Better system. Just saying.

Black walnut salad is the best. Typically very consistent, the last time wasn't upto par, spoke with manager at waitress's insistence and manager removed charge. Service is excellent
-Competitively priced.
Slow service. Couldn't enjoy the food because I almost died of starvation waiting for it to come out!!! I expect better service at this price point.
The whole menu sounds good, the service was good ( I sat at the bar during a less busy time), but my husband, son and myself all got food poisoning from the chicken strips.. I got the Cobb salad which was great (if it hadn't all come back up that night) we also got the chicken strips order to snack on and share with our 2 year old.. That night I got extremely sick and by morning all 3 of us were extremely sick.. We had not eaten anything after our visit here and the only thing we all ate in common was the chicken.. I've heard good things about the restaurant but I will not be going back.. I called to let the manager know and he took my name and number but never called me back.. For the price of the food, and the great bar service I was not expecting this experience at all.
